My care was good as always. The examination was thorough and explained well. All staff were polite and professional. Unfortunately despite a very positive experience I ultimately didn't purchase any spectacles from Boots simply because I found the range of frames within my budget to be very limited. My glasses are always expensive due to my optical needs and there were no frames that I liked enough at the lower end of the price spectrum that I was prepared to buy as part of the £400 + that I always have to spend. I have purchased my spectacles from another high street optician who I felt gave me more choice at an 'affordable-for - me' price.

Boots opticians at Tamworth Ventura went above and beyond helping me to get the right varifocal lenses. As a first time wearer the help was greatly appreciated. Had several consultations following receipt of my glasses and found that they didn't really work for me on any level. However with their patience and expertise minor adjustments were made to the lenses and a new pair ordered. So much better. Varifocals for me haven't been the brilliant answer I'd hoped for but are so much better than keeping swapping reading and distance glasses. They have made day to day wearing convenient. However, I do not like the soft focus at the edges so do not drive in them as it doesn't feel right for me. Can't praise Tamworth Ventura optical staff enough.

My appointment was on a saturday morning and i got the feeling the person doing the eye examination did not want to be there atall. He was very abrupt and I did not like his manner .He did not say please once when I was asked to read or do things. I will not be visiting this opticians again.
